Venison Butternut Squash Chili

Ingredients
1 tbsp Olive Oil Onions, 1 medium finely chopped1 Bell pepper finely chopped1 Jalapeno pepper seeded finely chopped2 Garlic cloved finely chopped 1 TBS Chinese Five-spice Powder2 Tsp Chili Powder1 Butternut squash (about 2 lbs) Seeded, Peeled and Chunked1 Lb ground venison1 28oz can diceed tomatoes with juice 1 C Beer1 TBS Unsweeted Cocoa Powder1 Tsp brown sugar1 15.5oz can Black Beans drained1-1.5 C Vegetable stock Salt to tasteJuice of a lime
Directions
Heat Olive oil in skillet, brown venison then add onions, bell pepper and jalapeno and saute until onions transparent. Add mixture to large soup pot.

add spices, garlic, squash, venison, tomatoes, beer, cocoa, brown sugar, stock and simmer for 20-30 min til squash is fork tender. add beans and lime juice, then simmer for 5-10 min longer. Add any extra salt it needs serve garnished with lime wedges, cilantro and sour cream.
