Chicken Tortilla Soup

Ingredients
1/2 C chopped onion1 T minced garlic1 4 oz can diced green chilis1 15 oz can stewed tomatoes4 C chicken broth1 tsp lemon pepper1-2 T sour creamgrated cheese2 T worcestershire sauce1/2 -1 tsp chili powder1 tsp cumin4 T flour1/2 C water1 lb cooked shredded chickentortilla strips (or tortilla chips)
Directions
Quickly saute onion and garlic in large pot. Add rest of ingredients except for sour cream, cheese, and tortilla strips. Heat to boiling for 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream until melts. Serve with tortilla strips and cheese.

    I lived in Texas and was expecting this to be different. I would add more spice and perhaps hot sauce and no worchestershire sauce. Consistency was nice. Add avocado garnish and cilantro - 1/12/09
