2# brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved8 oz. maple flavored bacon, fried til crisp and crumbled1/2 c. heavy cream1/4 c. pure maple syrupsalt and pepper to taste
Fry out bacon, remove and drain. Use 3+T. of bacon grease left in pan to cook the brussels sprouts, about 8-10 min. Add cream, reduce by halve, about 5 min. Add bacon and maple syrup. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook 2 more minutes until sprouts are tender and sauce has thickened.
