Ingredients
24 C of cooked apples with skin on. (mashed or pureed in food processor)2 TBS. cinnamon2 Tsp. allspice2 Tsp. cloves
Directions
core and chop Apples, place them in a heavy pot and add about 2 cups of water to prevent burning.

Cook apples until soft and mushy. run through food mill or food processor.

Place in large pan with tall sides. Add sugar cinnamon allspice and cloves . Stir well . Place in preheated 325 F oven. cook for aprox.4 hours stirring every hour scraping down sides to mix.

Butter is done when a spoonful placed on a chilled plate resembles jam or jelly, in other words it sticks to place while its tipped vertical. (3-4hrs.)

Serving Size: makes 175, 1 TBS. servings or about 16 ,1/2pint canning jars.
