Pork and Hominy Soup

1.25 lbs pork loin, chop it in cubes.2 tablespoons vegetable oilOne onion chopped4 cloves garlic1 large can (28 oz) Hominy2 tablespoons Chili Powder4 Cups Chicken Broth.
Use one Tbl spoon oil and brown the pork cubes on all sides. When finished -- put that in slow cooker.
Then in same pan, use remaining TBL oil and brown the onion and Garlic. Once softened add the Chili Powder and cook a little further. Then add 2 cups broth to scrap up all the bits in the pan -- and pour all that into the slow cooker. Take the can of Hominy -- drain and rinse it and put in slow cooker. Add remaining Chicken Broth and cook for 4 hrs on high in slow cooker.
