Candy Cane Biscotti

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour1 1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt1/2 cup butter at room temp1/2 cup sugar3 large eggs at room temp4 candy canes crushed3 squares bakers white chocolate or 3 oz white chocolate melts
Cream butter and sugar for 3minutes til fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt together and then add to butter egg mixture. Mix just til incorporated. Fold in 3/4 of the crushed candy candy pieces.
Divide dough into 3 logs. Bake at 350 for about 15 to 18 minutes, til light golden. Transfer to wire rack and let cool for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 300. Cut into slices (12 per log). Place side done on the oven and return to oven for about 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool completely. Line up,sides toudhing, on waxed paperl
Melt chocolate carefully, and drizzle with ribbons of melted chocolate. While still wet. sprinkle with bit of candy cane and let dry. Store in airtight container.
Serving Size: Makes 3 dozen
