Taco Spaghetti - Taste of Home Version

12 ounces uncooked spaghetti1 pound lean ground beef1 envelope taco seasoning3/4 cup water15 ounce can black beans, rinsed1 can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained2 cups (8 oz) Mexican blend cheese, divided2/3 cup salsa
Preheat oven to 350.
Break spaghetti in half and boil per package directions.
Brown ground beef. Add water and taco seasoning and cook about 5 minutes.
Add beans, tomatoes and green chilies, 1 cup of the cheese, and the salsa. Stir to combine.
Put in 9x13 casserole dish.
Bake covered 20 minutes. Uncover and top with remaining cheese. Cook 3-5 additional minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serving Size: 1/8 of casserole dish, about one cup
