Pizzelles

Ingredients
3 1/2 c flour4 t baking powder1 1/2 c sugar6 large eggs1 c butter (do not use margarine)1 oz bottle anise extract
Directions
Melt butter on low temp and let cool to room temperature. In large bowl, sift flour and baking powder together; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar, beat well. Add anise and butter; beat well. Add flour mixture by spoonfuls, mixing well after each addition. Drop by spoonfuls onto preheated pizzelle iron (follow iron directions). Makes 120-3.5" pizzelles (1 PPV per cookie).
