Deep Fried French Toast

Ingredients
2 slices Whole Grain Bread 1 egg (or egg substitute, like Braum's) 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 pkt. Splenda sweetener canola oil (for cooking, in iron skillet)
Directions
Warm about 1" canola oil in iron skillet (preferably). Cut bread into 3 to 4 strips, dip into mix and deep fry to desired darkness and crispness, about 3 minutes per side. Turn once.
