Red beans and Rice

Ingredients
1 lb dry kidney beans1/2 green pepper, chopped1 onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced7 c water1 1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper2 c white long grain rice
Directions
In slow cooker, combine everything except the rice. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hrs. Stir in rice, cover and cook 20-25 additional minutes.
