2 tbsp. vegetable oil1 large onion, chopped3/4 lb lean ground beef1 28 oz (796 ml) can of diced tomatoes1 19 oz (540 ml) can red kidney beans3 tbsp. chili powder3 tbsp. tomato paste1/2 tsp oregano1/4 tsp crushed chiliessalt to taste
Directions
brown meat
sauté onions and peppers
add all ingredients in a slow cooker
cook on low for 2 hours
