3 Cups Flour (split)3 Cups Milk 1% (split)3 Cups Sugar (split)1 yeast packetIf you don't already have starter, activate the yeast in a cup of warm milk. Then add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of flour. Allow to rise 5 or 6 days. Then add another 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of flour, and 1 cup sugar. On the 10th day, add another round of 1 Cup of sugar, milk, and flour. Mix well with all additions.If you already have the starter, skip the yeast, and "feed" the mix on the 5th or 6th day.Day 1 - nothing (squish the mix)Day 2 - squishDay 3 - squish Day 4 - squishDay 5 - squish or feedDay 6 - Feed with 1 Cup of milk, flour, and sugar.Day 7 - squishDay 8 - squishDay 9 - squishDay 10 - feed again with 1 Cup of milk, flour, sugar.Separate into 4 - 1 Cup starter bags for your friends, and reserve 1 Cup for yourself, to start again.** Do not use anything metal to store it in or stir it with **** Leave this out on your counter.
