Easter Birds Nest Dessert

Ingredients
1 6 cup package of dry chow mein noodles80 small jelly beans12 oz bag semi-sweet cholocate chips
Directions
Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler
Add chow mein noodles, stir with chocolate until noodle coated
Create 16 mounds of mixture on wax paper (this is a great step for kids to do, just make sure to let chocolate cool a bit, but not too much)
Place jelly beans on chocolate
Optionally you can use peanut butter as an adhesive for jelly beans, and you can also place a marshmallow peep on each

    I made this with my granddaughter using pretzels instead of the chow mein noodles but I would break the pretzels in half next time. I didn't eat any but the grandchildren enjoyed them. - 3/5/09

    I make these with my daughter every year for easter. I have never tried doing it with chocolate chips. I always use marshmellows and make them like a rice krispie treat. I will definetly be trying this version. I use cadbury mini eggs and peeps with mine! - 4/28/08
