Paella

Ingredients
1lb Italian sausage (hot sausage if you prefer)1lb frozen shrimpmixed veggies (broccoli & zucchini)1 cup rice1 cup lentil2.5 cups chicken broth2 diced tomatoes1 diced onion1 tsp turmeric (for color)2 tsp Ancho chili powder2 bay leavesoptional: hot sauce to taste
Directions
slice and pre cook sausage
Add in veggies and simmer until soft.
Add in seasonings (1tsp tumeric, 2 bay leaves and 2 tsp ancho chili powder) and chicken broth, along with rice and lentil.
Cover and simmer until rice and lentils are soft. 20-40 minutes depending on your rice.
Add in frozen shrimp and simmer until heated through.
remove bay leaves before serving.
