Tammie's Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
Left over Ham Bone w/ scraps (or Ham Hock or Kielbasa)3 sm. cans Chicken Stock1 cans V8 Juice1 Lg. can Whole Tomatoes1 med. Parsnip (cubed)1/2 Rutabaga (cubed)2-3 Lg. Carrots (cubed size)2-3 Potatoes (cubed)2 Lg. stalks Celery1 med. Valdalia/Sweet Onion5 cloves Garlic Cabbage (small Head or 1/2 of Lg. Head) 1 pack. Lipton Onion Soup Mix1/2 tsp. Black PepperHot pepper vinegar sauce to tasteSalt & Pepper to tasteSaltine Crackers (optional)
Directions
If using Kielbasa, slice into discs and brown with the onions in a skillet and add a little water to get the stuff that stuck to the pan and pour into a crockpot.
Then, add everything but the cabbage into a Large Slow Cooker on low for 6-8 hours
Then add cabbage and cook for additional hour
and enjoy!

Or

Cook on the stove by adding all the ingredients except the cabbage cover and bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for 3 hours add the cabbage cook on medium for an additional hour and enjoy.
