Basic Omelette

  • Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
1 large egg (per the egg board) 50g, 2 serving1 Tbsp. Skim milk1 tsp / oliveoil Salt and/or pepper to taste
Directions
Crack the egg(s) in a bowl and break the yolk with a fork. Add the milk, and mix well. This can be enough, or for a fluffier texture, whisk for about 5 minutes.
In a small, preferably non-stick sauté pan over medium heat, add the oil and allow to heat.
Pour in the egg mixture. Allow the eggs to cook for up to a minute, or until the bottom starts to set.
With a heat-resistant spatula, gently push one edge of the egg into the center of the pan, while tilting the pan to allow the still liquid egg to flow in underneath. Repeat with the other edges, until there’s no liquid left.
Gently flip the egg over.
