Snow Day Beef & Barley Soup

Ingredients
This recipe was cobbled together from items in the cupboard during a recent snow day. Add to the crock pot:One envelope Lipton Onion SoupOne large can whole peeled tomatoes & juice & 1 can water16 oz lean stew meat, cut into 1/2 inch pieces2 Tbs garlic1 Tbs dried oreganoLet this cook for two hours on high. Then add:1 bag frozen mixed vegetables, 340 gm1 cup pearl barleyCook 2 more hours. Add more water if it gets too thick. You can add red pepper to this to taste. I always like a bit of heat when it's cold out.
Directions
Easy "guest chef" menu. Let Mr Crockpot make dinner for you. Cook 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
