15 bean dried mixvegetable broth 1 qtwater 1 qttomatoes (to taste) I used 4oniongarlic (to taste) I used 2 large spoonfulscarrots (all I had on hand was baby, i used two servings)spices to taste, i used:saltpepperparsleychili powdercrushed red pepperI tend to make this often with just whatever veggies I have around the house
soak beans overnight and follow directions on bag.
cook beans in vegetable broth and water
when mostly done add veggies and spices
this can serve more or less than 8 depending on the serving size. 1/8 of a pot is a large and very filling serving with lots of fiber and protein
