Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients
1 1/3 cups of Whole oats2.5 cups of water1 tsp of salt 1/4 cup of Raisins1 Apple, cored & chopped (I like Honey Crisp)1 tsp of Vanilla Extract1 tbsp of Cinnamon, ground 1/8 tsp of Nutmeg, ground1/4 cup of Coconut Palm Sugar CrystalsOptional: 1 tbsp of Flax Seed Meal (ground flaxMilk1/2 cup of milk (per serving)
Directions
Boil water. Add salt and Oats. Stir. Reduce heat and add apples, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg & cocconut sugar & flax if using. Stir and let cook on medium heat (stiring occasionally) for about 2-3 minutes until water is dissolved.

Serve with milk if desired.
