French Lentil Soup

Ingredients
Olive Oil, 3 tbsp Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced Carrots, raw, 1 cup, choppedGarlic, 2 cloves Chicken Broth, 3.5 cup Lentils, 2 cupsPetite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1.5 cup
Directions
Cook vegetables and garlic in olive oil until brown, about 15 minutes. Add chicken broth, lentils, and can of diced tomatoes with juice. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 35 minutes. Remove 2 cups, mostly solids, and puree in a blender, stir back into soup. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
