apple turnovers with phyllo dough

9 large sheets of phyllo dough2 large Honey Crisp apples peeled and sliced3 tbs Smart balance1/4 cup brown sugar2 tbs maple syrup (I used pure Vermont)1/5 cup flourcooking spray
preheat oven to 350
melt two tablespoons of smart balance in a frying pan
saute apples and then add brown sugar and maple syrup. cook till apples reduce and are a liuttle tender.
take four pieces of phyllo dough and layer between with cooking spray. Add apple mixture to a corner and then fold like a flag, end over end to get the triangle look. repeat this for the rest.
do this for the other six.
bake for 25 minutes and enjoy.
