Chili Cheese Mac Bake

Ingredients
1/2 onion, chopped1/4 Large Bell Pepper, chopped1 tbsp. vegetable oil1 lb. lean ground beef1 16 oz. can tomato sauce1 cup water1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained1 tbsp chili powder1 tbsp garlic powder1 cup elbow macaronisalt and pepper to taste1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Prepare elbow macaroni as directed. Drain and set aside. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Cook chopped onion and bell pepper in vegetable oil in skillet until tender. Add ground beef and brown well. Drain excess grease. Add tomato sauce, water kidney beans, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper and ximmer for 10 minutes. Stir in macaroni and mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 11 baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove foil and top with cheddar cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Allow to cool 5-10 minutes and serve with salad or a green vegetable.
