93% Lean Ground Beef, 16 oz Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomato, 1 cup Peas, frozen, 0.5 cup Potato, raw, 3 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) sweet yellow onion, raw (1 medium onion), 1 serving Canola Oil, 13 tbsp Garlic, 2 tsp Turmeric, ground, 2 tsp Coriander seed, 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp Cumin seed, 2 tsp Fresh Ginger, 1 tbsp Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Drain the juice from the diced tomato can, but reserve some of the juice. Cut the onion up small and cook in the oil until golden brown. Add the garlic, ginger, spices and one TBSP of the tomato juice. Add the hamburger and drained tomatoes. Cut the potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes. Once the hamburger is browned and the liquid is gone add the potatoes. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes and add one cup water, cover, and simmer on low for about 20 minutes. Then uncover, let excess liquid steam off again and eat.
