Ingredients
1 pound pinto beans, dry (about 2.5 cups)1 onion, quartered4 cloves garlic, chopped1 jalepeno, quartered4 teaspoons salt8-9 cups water (8 if you presoak beans, 9 if you don't)1 tsp cumin (or morewhatever other seasonings you like
Directions
add everything to crockpot, cook overnight, 6 hours high, 8 hours low, or some sort of combination. When done, drain, reserving liquid. Mash and add back as much liquid as needed. I only needed about a 1/2 cup last time I did it.
