Corn Dog Batter

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour2/3 cup yellow cornmeal1/4 cup white sugar1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons bacon drippings1 egg, beaten1 1/4 cups buttermilk1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Mix batter. Place in cup and dip and fry corn dogs. Dry and coat hotdogs with cornmeal to help batter stick
