Ingredients
2 lg cans Tomatos (can substitue w/crushed)1 lg can Tomato Sauce.5 small can Tomato Paste1.5 Tbs Oregano1 whole garlic (chopped).25 tsp Itailian Seasoning1 lb Ground Turkey1 Box Lasanga Noodles2 cups Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
Scramble gound turkey in frying pan with chopped garlic, orgeano, italian seasoning, and a dash of salt & pepper. When turkey is cooked thoroughly, drain any fat. Then put into a large pot with the tomatos, sauce & paste. Cook on medium for 1/2 hour. Reduce to simmer and cook for another 1/2 - 1 1/2 hours. (The longer it simmers the more flavor it has, but is great soon too!)

Boil water and cook noodles as instructions on box state. When they are done, wash them with cool water.

Next in a 9x13 pan layer noodles, then pour on sauce, layer of cheese, and repeat. Make top layer of cheese the thickest.

Cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, checking half way through cooking.

Note: I buy mini tin-foil loaf pans and make single serving lasangas to put in the freezer and have as a quick meal anytime. To do this chill the sauce in the fridge before assembling the lasangas, this will ensure the cheese will not melt, harden, and then get cooked again later. If you choose to freeze them, just cover in tin foil and throw them in. Can be cooked frozen, just leave covered with tin foil and reduce heat to 350, cook for 45-60 minutes.

Good, just needed a little something extra. Next time will try with a tad of cottage cheese. - 1/28/08

I really like this recipe, although I would have added a bit more garlic because i love garlic and also a bit more cheese (although I know that is the fatty part). - 9/18/07
