Von's Vegan Burger

Ingredients
1/2 c dried split peas1/2 c brown rice2 c veggie broth1/2 c old fashioned oatsonion powder, garlic powder, Mrs Dash to taste1/4 finely diced red onion1 tbs pesto3 tsp hot chli oil
Directions
cook rice & peas in broth, approximately 30-40 minutes till done, allow to cool so you can handle. Add everything else, mix well and form into patties. brown in skillet in hot chili oil till crisp & brown on outside.
