Homemade Mac & Cheese with Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, cooked; shredded or cubed2 C shredded cheddar cheese, divided5 cups cooked pasta2 C cooked broccoli, chopped or florets2 Tbsp butter2 Tbsp flour1 cup 2% milk4 slices thick cut Farmland Bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook pasta. Place in large bowl with cooked chicken and broccoli.

Make a roux with flour and butter; cook for a few minutes, slowly add milk whisking. Cook on medium whisking often until sauce thickens. Add salt, peper, whatever seasonings you prefer. I like to add a little dried mustard.

Remove from heat, add 1 c. of the cheese, mix til smooth. Pour over pasta mixture.

Place mixture into prepared baking dish. Top with bacon and remaining cheddar. Cook in preheated oven for 30 min or until bubbly, maybe a little browned on top.
