Kristin's Yummy Tacos

Ingredients
2 packages Old ElPaso reduced sodium Seasoning Mix2 Lbs. 93% lean ground beef1 cup of Shredded Mexican cheddar cheese1 cup diced tomatoes1 cup shredded romaine lettuce22 Taco Shells
Directions
Cook meat. Drain well in colander. Put back in pan then seasoning and enough water to mix but not be runny.

Cook taco shells at 325 degrees for 6-7 minutes.
Top taco shell with meat mixture, cheese, tomatoes & lettuce.

I also love to cook refried beans with the meal and put them on my taco shell 1st. YUM!! (only 15 more calories for 1 TBS). Top meat with green pepper sauce for a little zip!

    Good recipe, but it's just the two of us. So I refrigerated the remaining ingredients (seperately) and lo, and behold, much of them disappeared in my husband's lunch. He said they were easy to reassemble at work, and only had to reheat the meat. - 4/9/08

    I make tacos all the time but use reduced fat cheese, fat free sour cream, loads of veggies, and veggie meat. My carnivore hubby couldn't even tell they were healthy and made with veggie meat. try that! super low cal that way too with almost no cholesterol. - 4/4/08

    i'm really confused about the calorie content! 1 corn tortilla is 57 cal. 2 Tbsps of ground beef is 120... and 2 tbsp of shredded cheddar cheese is 55. that adds up to ~250 calories per taco. how do you get 24 servings out of 22 shells?
