Ingredients
1 tsp. olive oil1 cup onion, finely chopped1 lb. ground beef3 garlic cloves, minced1 cup beef broth1/3 cup raisins1/3 cup coarsely chopped pimiento-stuffed olives3 T capers, drained1 T tomato paste1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and saute 5 minutes or until translucent. Add the ground beef and garlic. Cook until the ground beef is browned, breaking apart as it cooks.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 25 minutes.
