saute onions, set aside. cut potatoes into french fries, boil for 10 mins. strain, pour into a casserole dish, add onions, milk and cheese. (save 1/4 cup cheddar,for top of dish) mix well, add seasonings, mix well, add egg whites, mix very well. sprinkle saved cheese on top of dish.cover dish..bake at 375 for 35 mins. uncover bake another 10 mins, or until browned some on top.
