Grape Tomatoes with Balsamic Maple Vinaigrette

6 oz grape tomatoes, halved2 tsp balsamic vinegar1 tsp pure maple syrup1 tsp extra virgin olive oil2 large fresh basil leaves, chiffonade Salt and pepper
To chiffonade basil leaves, tightly roll each leaf lengthwise and slice into thin strips.
In a small bowl, place halved grape tomatoes and basil leaves. Drizzle vinegar, syrup and olive oil over tomatoes. Toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Allow tomatoes to marinade at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving (but you can always eat them right away:))
