Jodie's Marinera Sauce

Ingredients
1 quart whole tomatoes1 bell pepper chopped3 tsp chopped garlic1-2 tsp black pepper1 tbsp basil1 tbsp oreganosalt to taste
Directions
Heat olive oil on medium in sauce pan. Add chopped peppers and garlic. Cook for a couple minutes - be sure to not burn garlic. Add whole tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to several hours. If desired, puree with hand blender. Serves 7-can be poured over 1 box (14-16 oz) pasta.
