1-2lb hash brown potatoes (Frozen)3/4 cup margerine1 cup chopped onions2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (med or old)1 cup cream of chicken or mushroom soup (condensed) 10 oz1 tsp salt or less1 pint (500ml) sour cream2 cups corn flakes uncrushed
defrost potatoes, reserve 1/4 cup margerine or butter & 2 cups cornflakes. mix rest ot hte ingrediants & put in a (9X13in ) pan. mix reserved margerine or butter & cornflakes (crush the cornflakes)7 sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

The traditional name of this casserole is "Funeral Potatoes." Although it is called that because it is often served at Mormon funerals, the name also describes where you will end up if you eat this. Butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, cream soup...this is not healthy food!
