Ingredients
* Flour, whole grain, 1 cup * Baking Powder, 1 tsp * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp * Baking Soda, 0.5 tsp * Salt, 1 tsp * Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed * Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt,1/4 cup * *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp * *Egg white, 1 large * Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp * *Quick oats, or old fashion oats 1 1/3 cup * Raisins, 1 cup, packed
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cover 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt together in a small bowl. Combine brown sugar, yogurt, oil, egg and vanilla in a large bowl. Add flour mixture to make a blended dough. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until very lightly browned. Don't over bake. Slide cookies from parchment paper onto countertop to cool. Makes 40 cookies.

    I love these cookies! They are dense and delicious! I substituted one tablespoon of ground flaxseed and 3 tablespoons of water for the egg white and added a bit of nutmeg. Delicious! Also I made 50 smaller cookies which helps with the calories! Thanks so much! - 8/28/09

    A very chewy cookie. I cut the brown sugar to 3/4 c. Still plenty sweet for us. Also cut raisins to 3/4 c. Recipe called for 1 tablespoon of cinnamon(mistake?). I used 1 teaspoon. I added 1T. flaxmeal & 1T. wheat germ to make it healthier. - 7/25/08
