Cool Cucumber Pasta Salad

Ingredients
8oz pasta (any short pasta you like)1 TBS olive oil2 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced1 medium onion, thinly sliced1 1/2 cups sugar1 cup water3/4 cup cider vinegar1 tbsp Dijon mustard1 tbsp dried parsley flakes or fresh herbs of your choice1 tsp salt1 tsp pepper1/2 tsp garlic salt
Directions
Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. Place in a large bowl; stir in oil, cucumbers & onion. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over salad and toss.
Cover and chill for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with a slotted spoon.
