3 large eggs3 c cooked pumpkin 6 Tbsp brown sugar (1/4 + 1/8c)3/4 c white sugar1.5 cans or about 2.5 c fat free evaporated milk2 Tenderflake all veg. shortening "deep dish" frozen pie shellsSpices as desired:1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp each nutmeg, ginger1/8- 1/4 tsp each cloves, allspice, cardamom
Lightly beat eggs,
Beat in rest of ingredients.
Bake 425 for 15 minutes then 350 for about 40 minutes more till knife inserted in centre comes clean.
Do protect outer crusts with foil.
Serving Size: Makes 2 9" pies of 10 slices each.
