Directions
1 Package Turkey Peperoni\ slices1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese1 Cup Flour1 Clove Garlic (or minced garlic)1 Egg (whites only)2 TBSP Grated Parmesan Cheese2 Packages (11 ounces each) refrigerated French bread dough.1 Can Pizza Sauce (optional not included in nutritional value)Italian SeasoningOreganoParely flakes
Pre heat oven to 375.
Place dough on a smoth surface lightly dusted with flour. Cut the dough about 1/2 way thru long ways (as if to make a sub). Flatten the middle out to accomidate your filling. Add your spices (to your taste) including the parmesan cheese and a little flour, mix it up a little with a spoon. (If you want you may mix the spices up separately and then add) Add your pepperoni's (or other meats if desired) Pinch the loafs to seal.
Once both loafs are done place seam side down on a bakeing stone in an "X" pattern. Crisscross ends of dough 2 times. You should have 3 "lines" on top, cut 3-inch slits in each of the 3 top sections. Brush the egg white over the top of the dough and then add seasonings and cheese to flavor.
Bake 30-35 min or until a deep golden brown. And when you cut the loaf in half all of the dough is done. When done move to a cooling rack for about 10 min.
Cut into 10 slices. Serve. If desired dip in pizza sauce.
This tastes really good with or with out meats. You can even do one of the 2 loafs with pepperoni and the other with just cheese. Have fun with it get the kids involed and enjoy.
