Ingredients
Small Red Beans, 1 lb dryBlack Beans, 1 lb dry1 raw onion1/2 clove fresh garlic1 TBSP Himalayan Salt12 -14 cups water ( more during cooking process if needed)
Directions
Choose your favorite method to cook dry beans. I choose the overnight method. After rinsing the beans and soaking them overnight, in clear water I combine ingredients, bring the mix to a rolling boil then lower and simmer with lid off for 2 hours.
