Beef butternut Stew

Ingredients
1 lbs Ground Beef 90% lean1 medium yellow onion chopped2 c. tomatoes or 15 oz can2 c. cubed butternut squash1/2 c. sliced mushrooms2 t. salt1 t. summer savory1 t. tarragon4 - 6 cups water2 cups buckwheat penne (6 oz)
Directions
Brown the beef and onions in a large 4 quart stock pot. Add 2 cups of squash and 1 cup water. Place a lid on pot for 3 minutes and steam squash on medium(skip the steam part if using frozen or precooked squash). Add tomatoes and remaining water. Bring to a simmer. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until pasta is done to your liking.
