Chicken Divan Pot Pie

Ingredients
2 frozen regular pie crusts3 tablespoons butter3 tablespoons flour1/4 teaspoon pepper1/2 cup chicken broth1/4 cup milk4 oz (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese2 cups cooked and diced chicken1 (10=oz) pkg. frozen chopped brocolli, thawed, drained well
Directions
1. Heat oven to 425F. Place cookie sheet in oven to preheat. In medium saucepan, combine butter, flour, and pepper. Cook over low heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and milk and stir until mixture begins to thicken; add cheese and stir until melted. Stir in chicken and broccoli. Pour mixture into pie shell.
2. Remove second crust from pie pan and CENTER frozen crust UPRIGHT on top of filled pie. Let thaw 10 to 20 mintues and crimp edges together. Cut 2 to 3 slits in top crust. Place pie on preheated cookie sheet. Bake for 30 to 35 mintues or until crust is brown and filling is bubbly.
