Green bean casserole

Ingredients
Green beans (Fresh)Baby bella mushrooms - I used 6 good-sized onesBacon - 4 slicesCheddar cheese - a small handfulCream of mushroom soup - 2 8-oz(?) cansFrench's fried onions - 1 containerOptional- chicken broth for boiling green beans
Directions
Remove ends from green beans, snap in half and rinse. Boil green beans for 20 minutes. I used a mix of chicken broth & water.

Slice (or cube) then sautee mushrooms.

Microwave bacon, blot grease, tear or cut into pieces. If you like more fully cooked bacon, crumbling works too.

Combine green beans, mushrooms, cheese, bacon and cream of mushroom soup in bowl and stir to mix.

Spread into 2 qt casserole dish, cook for 25 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from oven. Top with French's fried onions.
