Wellness Mama's Tumeric Tea Golden Milk Recipe

Ingredients
3 C. Coconut Milk OR 1 can coconut milk plus 1 C. water1 t. Tumeric powder1 t. Cinnamon, ground1 t. Raw Honey OR Maple Syrup to tastePinch of Black Pepper (increases absorbtion)1/4 t. ground ginger powder OR tiny piece of fresh, peeled ginger rootPinch of cayenne pepper (optional- I leave it out of mine but my husband likes it in his)
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Pour into a small saucepan and heat 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Drink immediately.
We omit the black pepper and drink with a whole peppercorn or two. Can also whirl in the blender with a bit of butter if you can afford the calories for a smoother drink.
