On Hand Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
Approximated ingredients. I add whatever vegetable are on hand! The only constants are cabbage, broth, tomato sauce, onions and ground beef.Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, large (about 7" dia) (remove)Tomato Sauce, 4 cup (remove)Onions, raw, 1 large (remove)Carrots, raw, 3 cup, strips or slices (remove)Ground beef, lean, 16 oz (remove)Garlic, salt and peper, season to desired taste.Garnish with: (optional)sour creamcheese (We love feta!)green onions Additional ground beef mixed with mozzerella. (For the meat eaters of the house!)
Directions
Brown ground breef.
Mix ground beef, tomato sauce and chicken broth in crock pot/slow cooker.
Chop veggies into bite size, soup appropriate pieces and mix in. ( I shred my cabbage and carrots. )
Cook until veggies (namely carrots) soften.
Season to taste with garlic, salt and pepper. I add mine as I go and don't have any specific measurements!
