2 Cups Self-raising White Flour1 Cup Firmly packed Brown Sugar125 gms Softened Butter170 gms Finely Chopped Seeded Dates1 Egg lightly beaten125 ml Milk
Grease a 20cm X 30 Cm lamington pan
Combine Sifted Flour and Sugar in a medium blowl; rub in Butter. Press half the Flour mixture over the base of the prepared pan.
Add Dates to the remaining Flour mixture. Stir in the combined Egg & Milk; spread mixture over base.
Bake in moderate oven (180deg C/350deg F for 30 minutes or until browned slightly.
Serving Size: 28 Pieces of 36 gms each
