Fettuccini Alfredo Low Fat and Yummy

Ingredients
3 oz. fettuccini or any pasta you have1 1/2 t. olive oil1 t. butter1 clove garlic, or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder3 T. flour1/4 c. chicken broth, fat free and low sodium1/4 c. low fat milk2 T. cream cheese, low fat3 T. Parmesan cheese, gratedSalt, if desired1/4 t. black or white pepperNutmeg, dash
Directions
Boil pasta according to package directions. If using a clove of garlic saute 1 minute in olive oil and butter (may use garlic powder instead.) Sprinkle flour into skillet and cook 1 minute. Whisk in slowly milk and simmer one minute. Add cream cheese, Parmesan, salt (if desired) and black pepper. Add a dash of nutmeg if you like that flavor in alfredo sauce. Simmer until warm. Add cooked pasta and toss with sauce.
