Ingredients:Rice, long grain, uncooked, 1.25 cup Pigeon Peas, 1 cup (remove)Sofrito Sauce, 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce, .25 cup (remove)Goya Sazon con culantro y achiote (orange box), 1 serving Garlic, 2 clove Adobo, 0.25 tsp
Directions
in Caldero add olive oil. sauté sofrito and garlic, add gandules, tomato sauce and all the other seasonings. and rice. add water first knuckle over the rice. that's about and inch over rice. stir well. let simmer till all water is absorbed. stir again lower heat to low and cover. cook 20 to 25 mins.
