Sugar Free Grain Free Cocoa Fig Brownies

(conversions)1/3c ( 5tbsps)unsalted butter, ghee, or coconut oil, melted, (plus more for greasing the dish)1/2tsp vanilla extract1.5 large eggs, beaten*1/2c honey (I used 1/4 honey(70g) 3/4 molasses (100g))**.5 tsp lemon juice1.25c (approx 120g) blanched almond flour**3/4c (12tbsps or 60g)cocoa powder1/2tsp baking soda1/2c chopped dried figs
-In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted fat, vanilla, eggs, honey, and lemon juice until well combined.
-In a small bowl, mix the almond flour, cocoa, and baking soda.
-Add the dry mixture to the wet and let stand for 10 to rise.
-Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch-square glass or ceramic baking dish.
-Stir in the figs and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
-Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes. Cut into squares before serving.
