Laura's Homemade Pasta sauce w/ spaghetti

Ingredients
3 pounds of ground beef (93% lean) - my calculation includes a 3.2 package2 green bell peppers1 medium onion3 cloves of garlic1 tsp. basil1 tsp. oregano1 tsp. thyme2 tbsp. sugar2 tsp. salt(2) 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes(1) 14 oz. can of crushed tomatoes 1 small can of tomato paste1 jar of pasta sauce (only added for extra flavor)1 cup grated parmesean cheese2 boxes of spaghetti (or any other type of pasta)
Directions
Ground beef, strain & set aside. In the same pan toss in green peppers and onions (saute for a minute and a half), add garlic. Continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, pasta sauce, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, beef and sugar.
Simmer for an hour, add cheese, simmer for another 30 minutes.
Serve over spaghetti!
