Ingredients

    6 oz. spaghetti
    2 tbls. butter
    1/3 cup parmesan cheese
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 cup fat free cottage cheese
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    13oz. spaghetti sauce
    1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Directions

Cook spaghetti according to package directions and drain. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Add parmesand cheese and eggs. Form crust in the bottom of a pie plate sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Brown ground beef and drain. Add spaghetti sauce. Set aside. Spread cottage cheese over crust. Spread meat mixture over cottage cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Top with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and a slight sprinkle of Italian seasoning if desired. Bake for 5 minutes longer.

    I made this for dinner tonite ...and I Loved it and so did my family...did cahnge some thins ..used ground turkey and wheat spaghetti...and left out the butter and it was GREAT.. - 8/25/11

    This is a new favorite. I was a little wary about the spaghetti noodle crust, but it turned out perfect. It was so simple and quick, and reheats well. MUST TRY! - 1/18/11

    I was a little hesitant at first....but it turned out surprisingly well. I used lamb mince instead of beef and it was still very tasty.... - 4/6/20
